National Supplier Database (NSD) – We are Qualified as Houston Executive Consulting

It’s exciting for us to announce to our clients and potential clients that we have been successfully Qualified for the National Supplier Database (NSD) at The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) for the supply of goods, works, and services in the oil and gas industry in Uganda. Our official NSD Number is NS-12709/19/1689.

The official communication was received from the Executive Director of PAU on 15^th August 2019. We are now eligible to provide our professional management consulting services to the oil and gas sector in Uganda.

The Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU) is established under the Petroleum Exploration Development and Production Act of 2013 (The Act) to monitor and regulate oil and gas activities in the country.

The PAU is required to, among other things, establish and publish annually a central database of persons and entities involved in petroleum activities in Uganda and prohibits any entity or entity from providing goods, works, or services for oil and gas activities unless they are registered on the database.

We note from the publication that PAU has undertaken this registration process since 2017 when the process was still manual to a web-based application system, where applicants are required to visit the PAU website and upload the information required for registration.

We took advantage of the 2019, call for applications to be qualified and registered to the NSD which remained open from 1^st September 2018 until 30th June 2019. We already knew that the PAU works with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) in the verification of Entities and persons to be registered on the National Supplier Database (NSD).

This process requires ONLY online applications uploaded with an accompaniment of Certificate of incorporation or registration, Tax Clearance Certificate for companies registered or incorporated in Uganda issued by Uganda Revenue Authority, Tax Clearance Certificate or its equivalent for companies registered or incorporated outside Uganda, National Social Security Clearance Certificate and Proof of compliance with Social Security. You will also need to submit your Banker’s Reference Letter.

Registration on the NSD is done free of charge by The Petroleum Authority of Uganda which is located on Plot 34 – 36 Lugard Avenue Kampala, Uganda. You can also visit their website: www.pau.go.ug
